For the second time I got to watch "War Room" and God reechoed this through that movie. We need to get on our knees and begin to correct things in our marriages, career, relationship, business, and stop complaining etc. My dear it took series of fights to get to where I am now. The holy spirit when received plays the role of the comforter, director, advocate, adviser but we fail to charge the spirit by speaking the language of the spirit constantly. When we start taking care of our spirit and charging our spirit like we do when trying to lose weight then and only then will we get the required result. I have a bunch of things I am currently running this year and I have been able to put them down in a short term goal format using the SMART measuring tool. S- Simple M- Measurable A- Attainable R- Relevant T- Time bound •So your goals have to be direct and simple as possible, no need for ambiguity. • Ensure your goals are measurable.  • The next thing is to ensure that your goals are attainable in the sense that you can achieve them within the stipulated time frame. • The next question that should he asked is how relevant that goal is? What benefits will be derived? What impact will be created?  • lastly your goals must be time conscious. Set a time frame for the completion of that goal. Setting goals may seem simple but the work lies in executing those goals. We will talk about the obstacles later on.

As i laid back to rest yesterday i made a promise to God that i would wake up and pray before covenant hour morning fellowship but i didn't because i let my flesh win and i had fed my self so much i knew waking up that early would be difficult. This morning as i planned to be up and ready for covenant hour prayer in church (This time i made no promises) but he made sure i kept yesterdays promise. God woke me up by 4:22am, still sleepy i woke up, showered and headed to church.  When i got to the church gate i realized i was 1hour 38 mins ahead of time.  I was so amazed at the length God could do just so his work is fulfilled. God still speaks and when he does he demands immediate action.

During the period of serving my country, I was greatly challenged by a young man who was bent on influencing my thought pattern, faith and belief in a positive way. Each day we took a walk, my eyes were opened to the reality that where I was presently was as a result of the words I constantly fed my mind with. “I Can’t go through this project” “ I believe  Jon would do better at the job” “I know I haven’t started this exams but I can’t imagine myself coming out successful” After a while of constant torture of the mind, I would always get a literal smack on the back because I dwelt on the reality that I wasn’t capable of becoming better, getting better in health, enjoying more than enough, rising above my status or even going beyond my limits. Today comes with a different view which was greatly influenced by a change in my thought pattern. I pushed my limits and assured myself that I could do whatever I set my mind to do.

  I got talking to a colleague of mine today and he made striking points about marriage. He said, God knew that man was ready for a mate when he saw  that all he had placed in his hand had been duly taken care of; the garden, the animals, and every creeping thing. God has placed in the hand of every man in this present time a duty which he expects you to fulfil. I once engaged a young man in a conversation as i always do. I asked him "What is your purpose in life" this question sprung up from the fact that he had so many failed relationships and he needed to know why?. I simply wanted to know if he understood God's reason for bringing a help mate and the role he was to play. I broke it down a little, it is very important for every man to know that he is the "Head of the church". His mental, spiritual, financial (yes!), Physical well being is in check. Hello RW Inspired Lovelies There was a time in my life where i was always treated as a second option. I met a guy who was everything i would desire for God to give me as a husband but the sad part was the fact that he only gave me attention when he felt like it or when he wanted to lay out what was going on in his life. In as much ias i did like it because it created a communication link but the truth is he was always doing the talking and failed to hear me speak too.  I had to stop my heart from clouding my judgement and use my head a bit. I remember that Jesus died for me because i am special and i deserve it. I am not a back-up plan for anyone neither am i a second choice. I know that the man who God has planned for me would definitely have the understanding of christ and treat me the way Jesus does.

I got welcomed with no internet access and the extremely cold weather. The local dish Ingera and meat sauce which I ate so much that I could feel it grow on my head but all the same the experience was worth it. I loved it all the way. I realized that sometimes you need to shut your ears from what people will say about anything but at the same time open for corrections. If I had listened to everyone’s opinion I wouldn’t have gotten my first real job, travel experience and my first big risk. So please weigh your options and ask God for a sign. His got you covered.

The next thing was the checks done by the airport officials. So I brought out my boarding pass and gave to them after which I was cleared. I got a call from the individual who was to pick me up from the airport that there was a slight change in plans and that i should take a cab to the hotel I was to lodge. I was scared, calm and relaxed because at that point I didn’t know where I was headed and certainly did not know the cab plate number. I kept calling and asking for descriptions after a while I got the place. In one day I got the full doze of a Lagos life. The traffic, environment, and people. On getting to the hotel I realized my room was reserved for hours later which meant I got into Lagos ahead of time. After two hours, my room was ready and it was time for me to hit the market. We got food stuffs like plantain, garri, crayfish, stockfish etc that would sustain us for a week or so in Ethiopia. I was fully prepared for the journey with my passport and letter of invit...

On the 30th of October I left Calabar to Lagos on a trip which was to set me on higher grounds. Lesson to learn if you have an agent booking  your flight then make sure the time is relayed to you. Sunday morning as I prepared and packed up my bags for a flight which was to be by 4:15pm I got a bumper news that my flight was for 9:45 which meant I had to be at the airport by 8am. In the rush hour I got my things set and ready to leave. No time for asking questions. Apparently going to Ethiopia was my first international experience although It Was an east African experience but all the same it counts as one too. It also counted as my first experience on air, it took the trip to lagos to make me realize that there is more to life than the comfort that Calabar offers.
