PERFECTLY IMPERFECT


When I listened to "All of me" by John Legend for the first time I was so unsure of the depth to that song.

All your perfect imperfections- it struck me real hard because at that point I realized I didn't have to be perfect for anyone to approve me all I needed was a touch of my flaws, inabilities, mistakes to make me who I am because any fixing or changing for anyone would alter my personality, disrupt my destiny and who God created me to be.

You may be thinking "I am a total mess" " I will never be attended to" "my past will disqualify me" "I am not like them" but the truth is that's the unique thing that distinguishes you the fact that you are "IMPERFECT" qualifies you for the crown because in that state you are ready to be worked upon by God himself.

I researched about the process of refining gold and I was amazed at the raw nature it has before it is refined, it doesn't attract, some people even mistake it for any stone but when it goes through the process of refining the stains, rough nature goes through heat and afterwards results in a Gold worth millions. Imagine yourself as the imperfect gold with flaws, attitude, messy past, mistakes but once you come to God all your imperfections become "PERFECTIONS"
