A REAL MAN SHOWS RESPECT TO GOD

One word for this Real men Series "Educating" I know I am the one writing all of the areas but the truth is my dad does a lot by giving his words of wisdom on certain areas (He is my first love oh). Yesterday was an eye opener and today we would like to go a little deeper as we check out "A Real Man's Respect for God"

3) A Real Man Shows Respect To God:

This should be the first on the list because a man that has the fear of God and respects everything that God has placed in his hand is a real man. I was at a wedding recently and the pastor said something striking which I feel every man should adopt, a real man understands that the lady he has is given to him by God and should be handled with care. God expects that real men of our time would extend that same level of respect to our spouse, girlfriends, mothers, children etc.
What I love most about my boyfriend is that he has so much respect for who God has made me to be, we spend time praying together about our families, Job, future etc and we have fun together. It is most important to make God the centre of your relationship. Your girlfriend or wife should constantly be developed and built into what God wants her to be, don't just stop at the way you met but discover God's plan together.
I always feel that every man I meet is for a reason and God doesn't just want us to be a passerby in our relationships.  A healthy relationship is one where you learn, you develop and you teach so that even if things doesn't work out like you envisaged you have succeeded in being an impact in someone's life. I watched Hell's Kitchen on BBC Lifestyle and I was amazed at one part that required the chefs to cook using a spinning table which will enable them to add a touch of their recipe as each chef's dish is being switched, the more you add flavour the more the chance of the person winning which is never certain. Its not about touring cities together ( which I would love to) or becoming sexually involved which should not be a priority in any relationship but the truth Is every relationship should add to you not subtract.

Question for today

My name is daniel I am a social person who likes the club life and everything that comes with it. I believe in God oh but the truth is I find it difficult to pray or spend time in church. I met Lucy 6 months ago and she is just the direct opposite of me she loves going to church and spending time with God. I know I may not be her type of man but I want to marry her. How do I make her believe I am a real man who is willing to respect God?

Love you
