It is finally here so get your phone's ready as you'll be dropping comments as to your opinion on certain topics starting from today. I decided to start the real men series with "Respect". In the course of my research on questions real men would ask and qualities real men must possess I settled on the first and most important which is "Respect". I realized a man who holds the hand of his lady at the cinema or opens the door for her after a date, is very romantic and has a way with words should not be a concrete definition of a real man. Real men have rare qualities which we would discover and uncover as we rub minds together.

Six Areas you Need to Access if a Man has the First Quality of "Respect"

1) He has respect for his "Family" especially his mother: let's start with a scripture we were made to memorize while growing up "Honour your father and mother" now let's stop there, I know you were waiting for the blessing aspect but the truth is the commandment still stands. A real man recognises this. But note that this point is totally different from a man who is "Mummy's boy" that is to say his woman's or wife's opinion does not stand a chance when his mum gives an opinion. A real man showing respect to his mum shows that he values women and the role they play. A problem will arise if the man loves his nuclear family more that the new family he is trying to build. There is need to understand that a new family means a new beginning.

Question For Today- Does the attachment of men to their Nuclear family affect their thinking, behaviours or decision in relationships, marriage and society at large?

So this is the first area of respect which every man must imbibe and every lady must look out for.
