UNDER VALUED



She once knew her worth
She once stood with dignity
She once spoke with boldness
Not minding the expression of other people
But for once she lost her value

Her glory was taken
She was vulnerable to the world
She was now of the world and in the world
Her flesh was not subject to control
She let her flesh speak for her

Time over time she cried
Time over time she was mocked
Time over time she was disgraced
Time over time she was laughed at and ridiculed 
Time over time she begged to be set free but not one listened to her plea

But when her lover came
He swept her off her feet
She hadn't experienced such show of love
He held her with her stain and striped her garment
He showed her what true love meant
He restored her 
He changed her story from "Undervalued" to "Overvalued"
Now the world sees her for who God created her to be.
He paid the highest price to redeem her
Now she speaks with boldness and is not afraid of the world.
