DIJE

Months after dee's graduation she was ready to serve her country  (National Youth Service Corp), she registered online and submitted 3 states from the East, North and South as she was from the
Dije was born and brought up in lagos. After the registration Dije was posted to serve in bayelsa and as she has always wanted a place far from home. A week to camp dee goes shopping with the girls at shoprite where she meets this promising young man that had his eyes glued to her.
It didn't take long as the young man walked up to her and appreciated her beauty, dee was not shocked as she got those comments all the time. Dee exchanged her number with balo a young maybe in his late 20's slender, tall and handsome, naira loaded (just her specification of the man of her dreams).
Since d
ee had a week to camp she got talking with balo in case he wanted a wife as he sounded like a Nigerian who has lived long abroad. In dee's mind she was on her way to "The Life" but she was drawn into the whole game that she never bothered to make a background check on him.

A day to camp she dressed up in a fitted short gown that made sure to show her cleavages and contours as balo came to give her a ride. As they got talking dee started on by asking balo his long term goals and what he wanted from her (it was barely a week after their meeting).

Balo being smart had planned out his statements and how coordinated he would be. He responded by telling her about his search for a wife and how he wanted settling down before travelling out in months. Dee had still not asked him where he schooled or where he was from all she was concerned with was if he had a house in Lekki and another car apart from the hyundai they were in.

An hour later they got to one of the biggest hotels in lagos. Balo ushered dee to the restaurant where they made their orders. Dee went first and ordered the most expensive meal of a N100,000 looking to Balo for a go ahead. After minutes the meal was brought to them with a bottle of champagne. The mushroom soup did not have anything in it as she planned it would but since it wasn't her cash spent she ordered for desert.
Minutes after the table was cleared Balo excused himself to use the men's room while they brought the bill, an hour passed but Balo still didn't return and the waited hand come twice to remind her that the next couple that booked the table had arrived.

The waiter then offered to check the rest room in case he had issues. Minutes after the waiter returned still with the cheque and told her the man she described wasn't there. Dee called his numbers but to no avail.

Dee missed her camp and became a waiter in the hotel so she could pay up the bills of 300,000 naira since then has not seen Balo but word went round as to the various ladies that he claims he wanted to teach a lesson for being too materialistic
