Sex is a Big Deal

Image
Lately I have been going through post on facebook and feel people are not even drawn to the idea behind sex. A month ago I met a young lady who started dating because her parents were not giving her the space and things she needed. Am not against sex in fact it's a beautiful thing but only when it's done right. Sex is a big deal and I feel you should know that God ensured that he performed the first marriage before Adam and Eve got together. Its a simple principle that God created "procreation". During one of our sisters fellowship a question was raised "is kissing part of sin in a relationship" we all brought up ideas some backed up by the bible others not. We finally settled on the fact that everything always boils down to something. I do not have to show I love you through body contact or otherwise "flee from every appearance of evil" . I met another lady last year and she told me how badly she would love her Virginity back and probably an...

Beauty After Change

C hange is a process of leaving a previous act to something better or probably worse. Sometimes change may be Positive and other times Negative, God doesn't always leave us hanging when he decides that we need a change rather he makes provision for us through the process of change. God might be saying to you "leave that Job, House, city, Family, Relationship" the shocking thing is that when God speaks we feel it's negotiable but the truth is it's a commandment. In 2012 I didn't make my complete result for WAEC or NECO and my score for JAMB was at the low side 185 to be precise, at this point I lost all hope of writing the Post UTME for UNICAL. Months after graduation towards September/ October I sat for GCE WAEC with God's help and much study I made my papers. It was a testimony for me. Weeks after that at a fellowship my mum and I met a student from Salem University Lokoja who told us that it wasn't late for me to apply. Finding a University wa...

For Better or Worse

Image
I can imagine someone say "mine will be for better oh no enemy will put asunder what God has joined" The truth is I am no magican or soothsayer, neither am I a prophet but am definitely someone who says something the way it is. I attended a traditional wedding today and the brides mother made a statement to the groom " my daughter has never given us any problem in her stay with us and I assure you she wouldn't with you" after that statement everybody started murmuring and making side comments which I knew the reason for that. I haven't been married before but I have lived with two couples which fortunately are my parents. The lovely thing about them is they show you that marriage can definitely have ups and downs, highs and lows, good times and bad times and lastly better moments and worse moments but what keeps it going is the love built over years. You are probably wondering "why the pep talk on marriage when we are still in the relationship stag...

Wednesday's special- Finding the Perfect Man Gone Bad I woke up that day with so much excitement, the thing is I had listened to a message a night before about finding the right man/woman. In my foolish moment I went on the search without considering that the man should be the one doing the "finding" not the other way round. I stopped at the shop right beside my house waiting for a taxi when an hyundai car pulled over beckoning on me to come close, as I was bent on not being ignorant on finding a spouse I went over to the car and to my amazement, it was a young attractive man with six packs I imagined I had so I drew closer to hear what he had to say. He looked down at what I had on "in my mind I wished I had worn my skirt with a slit to die for" but instead it was my baggy jean and a top that said "am available". The truth is I didn't plan for the next statement he made. He boldly asked me in broad day light "beautiful how much would it...

Months after dee's graduation she was ready to serve her country  (National Youth Service Corp), she registered online and submitted 3 states from the East, North and South as she was from the Dije was born and brought up in lagos. After the registration Dije was posted to serve in bayelsa and as she has always wanted a place far from home. A week to camp dee goes shopping with the girls at shoprite where she meets this promising young man that had his eyes glued to her. It didn't take long as the young man walked up to her and appreciated her beauty, dee was not shocked as she got those comments all the time. Dee exchanged her number with balo a young maybe in his late 20's slender, tall and handsome, naira loaded (just her specification of the man of her dreams). Since d ee had a week to camp she got talking with balo in case he wanted a wife as he sounded like a Nigerian who has lived long abroad. In dee's mind she was on her way to "The Life" but sh...
